I don’t know if I can give this a fair review yet since it is only May. So far, we will say it works pretty well. We did find one tick on my dog but it was back by her tail. She is a medium/large dog and maybe the necklace properties don’t reach that far? We are going to keep trying it out but I may get a natural spray to put on her also.

I live in central Maryland which is a hot bed for ticks and deer, we have a large family of deer on our farm. I was taking off 1 to 2 ticks per week off of each of my 2 Corgi’s. Since they have been wearing their Baltic Amber collars – I HAVEN’T TAKEN 1 TICK OFF MY DOGS, only 1 that was crawling on my girl but not attached. I’m a firm believer in all natural care & food for my girls. One is 16 years old and the other is 10 years old. I would never even consider putting pesticides IN or ON my girls. Now several friends have bought these collars and my sister has purchased 2 for her dogs. The word is getting around about these collars. My girls have been wearing these collars for about 2 months.

My dog had fleas and I had tried various topical flea medications and none completely did the trick,. Finally the last one that I tried left a sore on his back. I knew I had to try something else. This collar took about one week to really work but I haven’t seen any more fleas and his once constant scratching is gone. I will buy again.

So far so good! My grand-puppy has been wearing this collar for a month. The ticks are very heavy in our area this year and so far I haven’t seen one attached. I do believe she had one crawling on her and brought in with her, but it ended up crawling onto me. I am not 100% sure if it was because of the collar or not The friction from the pets hair is supposed to activate a scent from the amber and deter ticks. I would highly recommend this product over harsh chemicals.
